James R. Butcher is a graduated of Wittenberg University in Ohio. He graduated on the Dean’s list with a B.A. degree. Jim completed his law degree in 1958 at the Valparaiso University Law School in Valparaiso, IN. He has served Director of the Kokomo and Howard County Plan Commissions and as the Director of the Kokomo Urban Renewal Commission.
Jim has been practicing general law in the Kokomo area since 1968. You may recognize him from various television programs where he has appeared to provide legal analysis on estate planning and Medicaid planning. Jim also travels throughout central Indiana speaking at seminars for estate planning. He is a member of the Indiana and Howard County Bar Associations and authorized to practice law in Indiana, IL, and before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Attorney Jeffrey A. Lowry completed his B.A. at Indiana University in Bloomington in 1976. He then attended the University Of Dayton School Of Law and received J.D. degree in 1979. Jeff has been with our firm since 1977 and practice all aspects of general law.
Jeff has served a part-time Deputy Prosecutor in Howard County since 1989. He oversees juvenile delinquency matters.

Grew up in northwestern Howard County. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Philosophy, a Master’s in Political Science, and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. Josh has conducted countless bench and jury trials, and has successfully handled a vast array of transactional legal matters. His primary areas of practice include elder law, Medicaid planning, estate planning, estates & probate (including contested wills and trusts), family law (guardianships, divorce etc.), real estate, and personal injury. In addition to his private practice, he has been a deputy prosecutor in Howard County for the past eight years.

Has practiced law in Kokomo since 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Butler University in 1995. He attended Oxford University and worked in corporate lending for a Fortune 500 company prior to attending law school at Indiana University - Bloomington, where he earned his J.D. in 1999. He has recently served as President of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Howard County, and has also recently served on the Board of Directors of the St. Vincent Kokomo Foundation and Family Service Association of Howard County. Scott has served as a Howard County deputy prosecuting attorney since 2006. He is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer and practices in the areas of estate planning, estates and probate, contested probate matters, family law, business and corporate matters, personal injury and bankruptcy.
